Dr. Steven Caraway, Dr. Michael Branch and the entire staff of Caraway & Branch Chiropractic Clinic are pleased to announce that Dr. Gabriel Caraway has joined our clinic.  Dr. Gabriel Caraway, the younger brother of Dr. Steven Caraway, will practice spinal manipulation with a special emphasis in light touch and soft tissue treatment techniques.  He is now accepting new patients.  Please visit our clinic and allow Dr. Gabriel Caraway to explain the many advantages of effective healing with soft tissue manipulation.

Dr. Gabriel Caraway attended Louisiana State University where he was a member of the Track and Field team.  He was a four year letterman at LSU competing on the team as a Pole Vaulter.  Dr. Gabriel Caraway was voted to the   All Southeastern Conference Scholar Athlete Team three consecutive years and awarded the Athletic Director’s Cup for Academic Excellence 2001, 2002, and 2003. He graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology.

After graduating from LSU, Dr. Gabriel Caraway followed his older brother’s  career by enrolling in chiropractic college at Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas.  Dr. Gabriel Caraway received his formal chiropractic education at the main campus of Texas Chiropractic College and interned at the Moody Health Science Center in Pasadena, Texas.  While attending chiropractic college, Dr. Gabriel Caraway received additional training in the Graston soft tissue technique and Kinesio Taping.  These treatment approaches were utilized by our Olympic Teams at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China; and proved to be very effective and beneficial as exhibited by the large number of medals brought home by our USA athletes.  Dr. Gabriel Caraway received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in May 2009.   

Dr. Gabriel Caraway is currently enrolled in the Croft Whiplash program where he will be awarded a specialist post graduate proficiency certificate in the treatment of automobile and other related whiplash injuries.  He is also pursuing post graduate studies in sports injuries.  Upon successfully passing examination by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP), he will be recognized as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP).  Dr. Steven Caraway and Dr. Michael Branch encourage post graduate and continuing education and are pleased Dr. Gabriel Caraway possesses the same high standards to offer patients the latest and best examination, diagnostic, and treatment techniques available by the chiropractic profession.
